- 1 cup Kharjur/Dates
- 1 small cup Sesame Seeds
- 1 small cup Flax Seeds
- 1 pinch Ealaichi Powder
Heat a pan add sesame seeds and dry roast on low heat until the seeds turn light brown, then transfer them in a plate and let them cool. Set aside 2 sp toasted sesame seeds & blend remaining sesame seeds into a coarse powder, place in a mixing bowl.
In the same pan dry roast flax seeds on low flame till crackling sound and nice aroma comes out remove from the pan and allow it to cool. Once cooled grind them into powder and place into a mixing bowl.
Remove the pits from the dates and chop them. Grind the chopped dates into a smooth paste.
Then add the powdered flax seeds and blend it well.
Now add in sesame powder and blend it again, until well blended.
Then transfer to a mixing bowl, add in roasted sesame seeds, elaichi powder and mix thoroughly with hand. Take some amount of the dates+sesame mixture and make into small lemon sized balls. Now healthy and tasty recipe dates sesame flax seeds laddus are ready, store them in an airtight container.
