Suji Ragi Roti / Finger Millet Flour Semolina Roti - Millet Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Semolina / Bombay Rava
- 1/2 cup Ragi Flour
- 2 tbsp grated Fresh Coconut
- 2 tbsp grated Carrot
- 2 Green Chillies finely chopped
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 2 sp All purpose Flour (optional)
- 2 sp chopped Coriander Leaves
- Salt to taste
- enough Water
- 4 sp Ghee / Oil
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into soft dough, using enough water and keep aside for 10 mins.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
- Now take a ball of the dough and spread it on the plastic paper using greased hands to make a round roti.
- Put the prepared roti on the preheated pan and turn over in few seconds.
- Apply little ghee/oil and cook roti well on both sides.
- Repeat with remaining three dough balls.
- Adding additional ghee to the pan as necessary.
- Now suji ragi roti is ready to serve, serve hot along with fresh curd and chutney.
