Ingredients

  • 1 cup Semolina / Bombay Rava
  • 1/2 cup Ragi Flour
  • 2 tbsp grated Fresh Coconut
  • 2 tbsp grated Carrot
  • 2 Green Chillies finely chopped
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 2 sp All purpose Flour (optional)
  • 2 sp chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • enough Water
  • 4 sp Ghee / Oil

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into soft dough, using enough water and keep aside for 10 mins.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
  3. Now take a ball of the dough and spread it on the plastic paper using greased hands to make a round roti.
  4. Put the prepared roti on the preheated pan and turn over in few seconds.
  5. Apply little ghee/oil and cook roti well on both sides.
  6. Repeat with remaining three dough balls.
  7. Adding additional ghee to the pan as necessary.
  8. Now suji ragi roti is ready to serve, serve hot along with fresh curd and chutney.
