Maida Punugulu Recipe / All Purpose Flour Dumplings / Maida Bondalu - Snacks Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 small cup All purpose flour / Maida
- 1/4 small cup Rice Flour
- 2 Green Chillies finely chopped
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
- enough Butter Milk
- 1 pinch Cooking Soda
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep fry
Instructions
- Mix together all the above ingredients (expect oil) then add enough butter milk to make a thick batter.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and take a tablespoon of the batter and gently drop in the hot oil and allow to cook.
- Fry them till they turn golden brown and remove from the hot oil and place them onto a tissue paper.
- continue making punugulu with the remaining batter and serve hot with coconut chutney.
