Bread Fingers Recipe / Bread Fritters with Leftover Bread Crusts / Bread Crust Bajjilu
Ingredients
- few Bread Crusts
- 1 small cup Besan/Gram Flour
- 2 sp Rice Flour
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 pinch Cooking Soda
- 1/4 sp Carom Seeds/Ajwain Seeds
- enough Salt
- Oil for deep fry
Instructions
- Heat a pan add bread crusts and dry roast for 1 min on low flame and then remove from the heat.
- Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl add above ingredients(except oil, bread crusts) mix together and make a batter with enough water like bajji batter.
- Heat oil in a frying pan, when hot dip the bread crusts one by one into the batter and let coat on all sides and nicely drop them in hot oil.
- Fry them till golden color on both sides and remove from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Repeat the same with the rest of crusts, now bread fingers are ready to serve, serve with any sweet with hot coffee/tea.
