Kanda Gadda Vepudu / Elephant Yam Fry / Suran Stir Fry - how to make Yam Fry
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped Yam Pieces
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
- 4 sp Oil
- few Curry Leaves
Instructions
- Remove the hard skin of the yam and cut them into thin slices, then wash them and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan add chopped yam slices and stir-fry them on low-medium flame until light golden brown in color.
- Once done add salt, red chilli powder and stir, let it fry for 30 secs and remove from the pan.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and garnish with fried curry leaves and serve hot along with dal or sambar.
