Instant Tomato Onion Chutney / Tomato Ullipaya Pachadi - Chutneys for Tiffins
Ingredients
- 3 Tomatoes chopped
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1 sp Jaggery(optional)
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- 2 sp Oil
- few Curry Leaves

Instructions
- Combine chutney ingredients except jaggery and grind into a paste and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu and fry, once done add curry leaves and fry for 30 secs.
- Then add ground chutney and stir well, allow it to cook for a couple of mins.
- Then add in jaggery and give it a good stir and again cook for one more minute.
- After that turn off the flame and let it cool completely, now tomato onion chutney is ready.
- Serve this instant tomato onion chutney with dosa, idli or uttapam.
