Ingredients
- 1 cup Cooked Rice
- 2 sp Avakaya/Mango Pickle
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- little Salt
For Popu :
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 2 Red Chillies
- few Curry Leaves
- 1 sp Ghee
- 1 sp Oil
Instructions
Take a mixing bowl add cooked rice, avakaya pickle and mix very well, keep it aside.
Heat oil+ghee in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves, chopped onion and stir. Add little salt and fry until the onions are tender but not brown.
Then add fried popu to mixed rice and mix everything well. Now avakaya rice is ready to serve.
