Bajra Palak Roti / Pearl Millet Spinach Roti / Sajja Pindi Palakura Rotte – Millet Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sajja Pindi/Bajra Atta
- 1 cup chopped Spinach
- 1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
- 1" Ginger Piece
- 2 Green Chillies
- Salt to taste
- enough warm Water
Instructions
- Grind ginger, green chillies into a coarse paste and keep aside. Take a bowl add bajra atta, chopped spinach, salt, cumin seeds, ground ginger chilli paste and mix well. Add enough warm water and knead into a soft dough. Divide the dough into big lemon sized balls. Put a square of wet cloth on kitchen platform and place the bajra dough ball on it.
- Press it with wet hand into a round circle like chapathi, then place the roti carefully over the hot tawa. Cook the bajra roti both sides on medium flame till done. Now healthy breakfast palak sajja rotte/bajra spinach roti is ready to serve, serve with fresh yogurt.
