Jonna Rava Tomato Upma/Jowar Suji Tomato BathâUpma Varieties-Millet Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Jonna Rava/Jowar Suji
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 2 Tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 Green Chilli chopped
- 1 sp chopped Ginger
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 3 cups Water
- enough Salt
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- chopped Coriander Leaves
- Curry Leaves
- 3 sp Oil

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add chopped green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and fry for 30 secs, then add chopped onion and stir - fry until the onions are translucent.
- Then add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder and stir-cook till soft. Then pour water add salt and allow it to boil.
- Once the water start to boiling pour jowar rava and mix it well, cover with a lid and keep cooking on low flame till the jonna rava is completely cooked. Lastly add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
- Turn off the flame and let it leave for a couple of mins, now healthy breakfast recipe jonna rava tomato upma/bath is ready, serve with chutney powder or pickle.
