Wash and soak tamarind in little water and keep aside, wash and pat dry curry leaves on a clean cloth. Heat oil in a pan add chutney ingredients and fry. Now add curry leaves to it and fry for 1 min on low-medium flame.
Then add garlic cloves and turn off the heat, let it cool for some time. After that grind fried ingredients along with soaked tamarind, salt, turmeric powder into a coarse paste by adding little water. Now curry leaves garlic chutney is ready, transfer the ground chutney to a small bowl and serve with hot rice and ghee.
