Tomato Semiya Upma Recipe / Tomato Vermicelli Bath - How to make Tomato Vermicelli Bath
Ingredients
- 1 cup Semiya/Vermicelli
- 2 Tomatoes chopped finely
- 1 big Onion finely chopped
- 2 Green Chillies chopped finely
- 2 sp chopped Ginger
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 2 cups Water
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- few Curry Leaves
- 3 sp Oil

Instructions
- Heat 1/2 sp oil in a pan add vermicelli and roast them till light brown in color, then remove from the pan and keep aside.
- Add remaining oil to the same pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves, ginger, green chillies, chopped onion and stir-fry until the onions are tender.
- Then add in chopped tomatoes and stir, sprinkle very little water and cook till the tomatoes are soft. Then add water, turmeric powder, salt and bring it to a boil.
- When it starts boiling add in fried vermicelli and mix well. Allow it to cook completely with cover, keep stirring. Turn off the flame and let it leave for 2 mins with cover. Now tomato vermicelli bath is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
