Ingredients

  • 1 cup Poha/Flattened Rice/Beaten Rice/Atukulu
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 3-4 Elaichi Pods
  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • few Dry Fruits
  • 2 sp milk

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan add poha/beaten rice and fry for a while on low flame, then remove from fire. Let it cool for some time, then grind them into powder and transfer to a bowl.
  2. Blend sugar and elaichi pods together into a fine powder and add it to poha powder and mix well.
  3. Heat ghee in a small frying pan add chopped cashew nuts, raisins and fry, once done add it to poha - sugar mixture bowl and mix everything well . If needed add a little warm milk and make laddus with the poha mixture.
  4. Now tasty tasty poha/atukula laddus are ready, offer them as naivedyam to Lord Sri Krishna during krishnashtami festival.
