Poha Laddu Recipe/Flattened Rice Laddu/Aval Laddu – Sri Krishna Janmasthami Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Poha/Flattened Rice/Beaten Rice/Atukulu
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 3-4 Elaichi Pods
- 3 tbsp Ghee
- few Dry Fruits
- 2 sp milk
Instructions
- Heat a pan add poha/beaten rice and fry for a while on low flame, then remove from fire. Let it cool for some time, then grind them into powder and transfer to a bowl.
- Blend sugar and elaichi pods together into a fine powder and add it to poha powder and mix well.
- Heat ghee in a small frying pan add chopped cashew nuts, raisins and fry, once done add it to poha - sugar mixture bowl and mix everything well . If needed add a little warm milk and make laddus with the poha mixture.
- Now tasty tasty poha/atukula laddus are ready, offer them as naivedyam to Lord Sri Krishna during krishnashtami festival.
