Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped Green Beans
  • 2 sp Peanuts/Ground Nuts
  • 1/4 sp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • enough Salt

For PoPu :

  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Chana Dal
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • few Curry Leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

Heat a pan add raw peanuts and dry roast till they turn light brown in color then remove from the flame and keep aside for cool, once cool rub them gently and remove the skin from the peanuts. Then ground the peanuts into a coarse powder with red chilli powder.

In a bowl place green beans, turmeric powder, enough salt and pressure cook for 2 whistles, then turn off the flame and allow it to cool. Once cooled drain the cooked beans and keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and stir-fry, once done add curry leaves and fry, then add cooked green beans and fry for another 2 minutes on medium flame.

Then add ground peanut powder and mix everything well. Cover with a lid and cook for a couple of mins on low flame. Now beans peanut powder curry is ready, turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
