Variety Dibba Rotti / Idly Batter Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Idly Batter (equal to 8 idlys)
  • 4 tsp Oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in heavy bottomed khadai & pour idly batter.
  2. Put a tumbler in the middle of the batter with water.
  3. See below picture, cover with a lid and cook on low flame for 10 min.
  4. When done turn of the heat & cover it for one more min, then remove the glass & transfer into a serving plate.
  5. Serve with any chutney or powder.
