Jowar and Wheat Chapathi / Jonna Pindi Godhuma Roti

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Jowar Flour/Jonna Pindi
  • 2 sp Wheat Flour for dusting
  • Salt to taste
  • Water
  • 3 sp Ghee

Instructions

  1. Combine wheat flour, jowar flour in a bowl and mix with salt, enough water and make a dough.
  2. Let it rest for some time with lid, then divide the dough into small balls.
  3. Flatten one ball of the dough with your hand, apply wheat flour and roll it into a thin round with the help of a rolling pin.
  4. Heat a pan and place chapathi and cook it on both sides, pressing gently.
  5. When it cooked lightly, spread little ghee the first side only, remove from the heat.
  6. Do the same with the remaining dough balls. Now jonna godhuma pindi chapathis are ready to serve, serve hot with dal or curry.
