Beans Perugu Kura / Green Beans Yogurt Curry / Beans Curry with onion and Curd

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped Green Beans
  • 1 cup Fresh Curd/Yogurt
  • 4 Garlic Cloves chopped
  • 2 Onion chopped
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 Red Chillies crocked
  • 1 sp Coriander Powder
  • 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • Curry Leaves
  • Salt to Taste
  • 4 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and cook beans with curd, salt and turmeric powder, if required add little water, once done strain them.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, crocked red chillies and fry for a while, next add garlic,onion pieces, curry leaves and stir-fry them until onions are tender.
  3. Add in coriander powder, red chilli powder and mix well, cook it for a few mins on low flame, then add cooked beans and stir well.
  4. Cover and cook for 5 mins, after that turn off the flame, now beans perugu curry is ready to serve, serve with rice or roti.
