Simple Cabbage Curry Recipe / Patta Gobhi Stir-Fry / Cabbage Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped Cabbage
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Chana Dal
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • Curry Leaves
  • 1 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Cook chopped cabbage in a pan with one cup of water, enough salt and turmeric powder.
  2. Boil the cabbage uncovered for about 10-15 mins or until soft, stirring occasionally.
  3. Once done, strain the cooked cabbage and keep aside to cool.
  4. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves and stir.
  5. Then add cooked cabbage, red chilli powder and stir-fry for a couple of mins.
  6. When done turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl.
  7. Now simple cabbage porial is ready to serve, serve with rice or roti.
