Sweet Kudumulu Recipe / Rice Flour Sweet Kudumulu–Vinayaka Chavithi Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Rice Flour
- 1 cup grated Jaggery
- 2 sp fresh Coconut (grated)
- 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 sp Ghee
Instructions
- Boil water and add jaggery into it and boil, once the jaggery dissolved, filter the syrup and remove the dust.
- Again boil the jaggery syrup and make it slightly thick, then remove from the flame, add coconut, rice flour, elaichi powder and mix it well.
- Cover and allow it to cool, grease you hand with little ghee and knead the dough well and make into small lime size balls and set aside.
- Take one dough ball and press it with your fist & set aside, repeat the same process with the rest of the dough balls.
- Then place them in a greased steel vessel, apply little ghee all over the kudumulu.
- Heat water in a big steel bowl and place the kudumula plate on it and cover with a lid and steam cook for 15 mins.
- Once done turn off the flame and garnish with fresh grated coconut and serve as naivedyam to Lord Ganesha.
