Rava Salt Undrallu Recipe / Suji Undrallu – Vinayaka Chavithi Recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 small cup Suji / Semolina / Bombai Rava
  • 2 sp soaked Moong Dal
  • 2 sp Fresh Coconut (grated)
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 sp Ghee
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add suji, grated coconut, soaked moong dal, cumin seeds, salt, 1 sp ghee and mix it well, add enough water to make a soft dough.
  2. Take the dough and make small balls, place them on a greased plate and apply little ghee all over them.
  3. Heat water in a steel bowl and place the undrallu plate on it, cover and steam cook for 12 to 15 mins or until the undrallu are done.
  4. When done turn off the flame and keep it covered for 1 min then transfer to a serving platter and offer them for naivedyam to Lord Ganesha.
