Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Toor Dal/Kandi Pappu
  • 1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 3 Red Chillies
  • 1 sp Ghee
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Heat ghee in a pan add toor dal, red chillies and fry on low flame till they become evenly golden brown in color, then turn off the flame allow it cool down completely.
  • After that add cumin seeds and grind them into a paste by adding sufficient water along with enough salt.
  • Now Andhra special chutney kandi pachadi/toor dal chutney is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve with hot rice and ghee.
