Tomato Dosa Recipe / Instant Tomato Dosa - how to make Tomato Dosa
Ingredients
- 1 cup Rice
- 3 nos chopped Tomatoes
- 3 Green Chillies
- 2 inches Ginger
- Salt to taste
- 6 sp Oil for dosa
Instructions
- Clean, wash and soak the rice for 1 or 2 hours and keep aside.
- Grind rice along with chopped tomatoes, green chillies and ginger into a smooth paste.
- Pour the ground batter into a mixing bowl, add salt and mix well.
- Add enough water to make it a pouring consistency like dosa batter.
- Heat a non stick pan and grease it with oil before pouring the batter.
- Pour a ladle full of batter in the center and spread the batter carefully with back of the ladle to a thin dosa.
- Now apply 1 sp oil around the edges of the dosa, once its cooked on one side, turn the dosa to the other side so that it gets cooked well.
- Repeat the same process for other dosas also, now tomato dosa is ready to serve, serve hot with chutney or chutney powder.
- If you are decide to use rice flour - soak rice flour with enough water for 10 - 15 mins then grind tomatoes along with soaked rice flour.
