Ragi Khara Biscuits / Finger Millet Savory Daimond Kajalu - Millet Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Ragi Flour/Finger Millet Flour
- 1/2 cup All purpose flour
- 2 sp White Sesame Seeds
- 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 sp Oil
- 2 sp Maida for dusting
- Oil for deep fry
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl add ragi flour, maida, salt, red chilli powder, sesame seeds, oil and mix well.
- Now add water to ragi flour mixture and make into a soft dough, cover this and let it rest for 20 mins.
- Divide the prepared dough into 2 parts, take one part and roll it into a flat chapati.
- Use a knife to cut the chapati into small daimond or square shapes, finish the rest of the dough and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the namak para on low flame till they turn light brown on both sides.
- Remove from the hot oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Repeat the same procedure for the remaining dough, now ragi pindi khara biscuits are ready.
- Crispy, tasty snack is ready, serve with a cup of tea/coffee.
