Onion Gravy Curry For Pooris / Ullipaya Kura for Puris
Ingredients
- 2 Onion finely chopped
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1 sp Besan/Gram Flour
- 2 cups Water
- 2 sp Oil
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- Curry leaves
- Coriander leaves
For Popu:
Instructions
- Heat oil in a khadai add popu ingredients and fry,
- Once done add red chillies, green chillies, curry leaves, onion pieces and fry a min.
- Add 2 cups water, turmeric powder, salt and stir well.
- In the mean time mix besan with 1/2 cup of water and keep aside
- Continue to cook on medium flame until the onions are completely cook.
- Then add in besan mix water and mix very well, let it cook on low flame for a couple of mins.
- When done transfer into a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Now onion gravy curry is ready to serve with puri.
