
Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter Milk
- 5 Azwain Leaves/Vamakulu
- 2 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 2 Green Chillies finely chopped
- enough Salt
For Popu :
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
- 5-6 Methi Seeds
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil
Instructions
Wash and chop azwain leaves/vamaku/karpooravalli leaves into small pieces and keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add chopped green chillies , curry leaves and fry.

Then add in chopped vamaku/azwain leaves, turmeric powder and stir-fry for a while.

Combine buttermilk, salt in a bowl, then add in fried carom leaves mixture and mix very well. Now spicy azwain leaves buttermilk/vamau majjiga is ready to serve.
