Chamadumpala Mudda Kura / Taro Root Curry Recipe / Spicy Arbi Curry
Ingredients
- 1/4 kg Chamadumpalu
- 1 Pinch Turmeric powder
- 1 sp Red chilli powder
- 1 sp Tamarind pulp
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 sp Chana Dal
- 1/4 sp Urad Dal
- 2 Red Chillies crocked
- Curry leaves
- 4 sp oil

Instructions
- Wash and pressure cook chamadumpalu for 2 whistles and keep aside for cool. Once done drain the water and remove the skin and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, when done add curry leaves and fry for a sec. Then add chopped taro root.
- Add in turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, tamarind pulp and mix well. Cover with a lid and cook for 5 mins on low flame.
- After that turn of the heat and transfer into a serving bowl. Now chamadupala mudda kura is ready to serve with steamed white rice and ghee.
