Aloo Capsicum Masala Rice Recipe/Potato Bell Pepper Pulav/Potato Capsicum Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 large Capsicum
  • 2 medium sized Potatoes
  • 1" Cinnamon
  • 3 Elaichi
  • 4 Cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 sp Oil
  • chopped Coriander Leaves
  • for Paste :
  • 2 sp Roasted Chana Dal
  • 1 sp Coriander Seeds
  • 3 or 4 Red Chillies
  • few fresh Coconut Pieces

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak the rice for about 10 mins and keep aside, wash and chop the vegetables into medium size pieces.
  2. Take a mixie jar and add above paste ingredients and grind into a smooth paste adding little water and keep it aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan add dry masala and stir for 30 sec, next add chopped aloo, capsicum pieces and stir, then add ground paste and mix well, fry it until good smell comes.
  4. Place the soaked rice with 2 cups of water in the rice cooker bowl, then add fried curry, salt to it and stir just combine and cook.
  5. When done add chopped coriander leaves and mix well, now aloo capsicum masala bath is ready to serve, serve hot.
