Aloo Tomato Rice Recipe / Potato Tomato Rice with Leftover Rice / Aloo Rice Bath
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked Rice
- 1 Aloo peeled and chopped
- 2 Tomatoes chopped
- 3 Green Chilles chopped
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 1/2 sp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1/4 sp Turmeric Powder
- 1 inch Cinnamon stick
- 3 Elaichi pods
- 3 Cloves
- Salt to taste
- 3 sp Oil
- Curry Leaves
- Coriander Leaves
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan add cloves, elaichi, cinnamon and fry for 30 secs, add chopped onion, green chillies, curry leaves and fry for a while.
- When the onions are tender add ginger garlic paste and stir, add chopped aloo and stir, sprinkle little water and mix well, cover and cook.
- When the aloo pieces are 3/4 done add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder and mix well, let it cook for a couple of mins, then add cooked rice, salt and mix everything well.
- Now aloo tomato rice is ready, garnish with chopped coriander leaves, serve hot with onion raita.
