Baby Corn Palak Masala Curry Recipe/Spinach And Baby Corn Gravy Curry-Gravy Curries
Ingredients
- 1 bunch Palak / Spinach
- 4 no Baby Corn
- 3 Green Chillies
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 sp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 sp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 sp Cumin Powder
- 1/4 sp Garam Masala
- 1 pinch Hing
- 2 sp Cream
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Sugar
- 1 sp Lemon Juice
- 3 sp Oil
Instructions
- Wash and cut baby corn into round shape pieces and cook them with little salt and keep aside.
- Clean, wash spinach and blanch along with green chillies in boiling water for 3 to 4 mins and refresh under cold water.
- Let it cool for few mins and grind it into a smooth paste, grind the chopped onion separately into a paste.
- Heat oil in a khadai add cumin seeds, hing and fry, when it crackles add onion paste and fry until the raw smell goes.
- Then add ginger garlic paste and fry for 1 min, at this stage add spinach paste and mix well, let it cook for 2 mins.
- Now add in coriander, cumin, garam masala powders, 1/2 cup of water and continue to cook.
- Then add cooked baby corn, salt, sugar and stir, cook for a couple of mins, then add cream and mix until the curry blend well with baby corn.
- Finally add chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice and turn off the flame.
- Baby corn palak gravy curry is ready to serve, serve hot with roti or chapathi.
