Bottle Gourd Toor Dal Fry / Sorakaya Kandi Pappu Podi Kura / Lauki ki Sabji
Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped Bottle Gourd/Lauki
- 1/4 cup Toor Dal
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash, peel bottle gourd and cut into small pieces and keep aside.
- Wash well and half cook toor dal in a pan and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves, sorakaya mukkalu and stir. Then add turmeric powder, salt and mix well, sprinkle very little water and cook with a lid.
- Once lauki is cooked, add sqeezed toor dal, red chilli powder and mix well. Continue to cook on low flame for a couple of mins with out lid.
- After that turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl. Now sorkaya kandi pappu podi kura is ready to serve.
