Cabbage Dal / Cabbage Pappu / Patta Gobi Pappu - Dal Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped Cabbage
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1 Tomato chopped
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 sp Tamarind pulp
- 1 pinch Turmeric powder
- 1 sp Red Chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry leaves
- 2 sp oil

Instructions
- Combine and pressure cook dal, chopped cabbage, onion, green chillies and tomato till done, let the cooker cool, remove the lid and mash it well.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, when they splutter add curry leaves and fry for a while, then add cooked dal mixture, tamarind pulp and mix well.
- Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix, let it cook for a couple of mins on medium flame.
- After that transfer into a serving bowl, now cabbage dal is ready to serve, serve with rice or rotis.
