Cabbage Garelu / Cabbage Vadalu / Patta Gobhi Fritters - Snacks Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Urad Dal
- 1 cup chopped Cabbage/Patta Gobhi
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 1 sp chopped Ginger
- 2 Green Chillies
- few chopped Coriander Leaves
- few chopped Curry Leaves
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep fry
Instructions
- Wash and soak urad dal for 2 hours, then drain well and grind into a coarse paste along with ginger, green chillies, remove from the jar and place in a bowl.
- Add all other ingredients (except oil) to the ground batter and mix it well, now garelu batter is ready.
- Heat oil in a kadai, when hot take small balls from the batter and flatten them slightly on a plastic paper and drop gently into the hot oil.
- Deep fry them till golden brown in color, then remove from the pan & place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Now cabbage garelu are ready to serve, serve hot with allam chutney.
