Chapathi with Flax Seeds Powder / Chapathi With Avise Ginjalu Podi
Ingredients
- 1 cup Wheat Flour
- 2 sp Flax seeds Powder/Avise Ginjala Podi
- 1 sp Oil
- Salt to taste
- enough Water
- 4 sp Oil for Chapathi frying
Instructions
- Dry roast flax seeds on low flame till crackling sound and nice aroma comes out then remove from the pan, allow it cool then grind flax seeds into fine powder and keep aside. In a mixing bowl add wheat flour, salt, 2 sp ground flax seeds powder, 1 sp oil and mix together.
- Add enough water and make a soft dough & keep aside for 15 mins with cover. Divide the dough into 4 equal balls, take one dough ball and apply some wheat flour on both sides and roll into a round shaped chapati.
- Heat a thick flat pan, once hot put the chapathi on it & cook for 1 min and then flip the other side, apply ghee/oil and cook both sides well. Once done remove from the pan, repeat with the remaining dough balls, chapathi with flax seeds powder is ready, serve hot with curry or fresh yogurt.
