Corn Cabbage Pakoda / Corn Patta Gobhi Fritters - Pakoda Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 small cup Sweet Corn
- 1 small cup chopped Cabbage
- 1 Onion chopped
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1/2 sp crushed Coriander Seeds
- 2 tbsp Gram Flour/Besan
- 1 tbsp Rice Flour
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
- few chopped Coriander Leaves
- few chopped Curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep fry
Instructions
- Wash sweet corn and grind into a coarse paste and place it in a mixing bowl.
- Add above all ingredients (except oil) to ground corn paste and mix them thoroughly by adding little water.
- Heat oil in a pan, when hot take small portion of the mixed corn cabbage mixture and drop them in the hot oil.
- Deep fry them on medium heat until golden brown in color then remove from the pan and place them onto a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Repeat the same process with the remaining batter, now corn cabbage pakoda is ready.
- Garnish with fried curry leaves, green chillies and serve, serve hot with coffee or fruit juice.
