Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cooked Rice
  • 11/2 cup Fresh Curd/Perugu
  • 1/4 cup boiled and cooled Milk
  • 2 Green Chillies chopped
  • 1″ Ginger finely chopped
  • Salt to taste

For Popu :

  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Chana Dal
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • Curry leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  • Place cooked rice in a bowl and keep aside.
  • Pour curd, milk over the rice and mix, add enough salt and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry.
  • Once done add chopped ginger, green chilli pieces, curry leaves and fry
  • Fry them for a few secs, then remove from the fire and add it to the curd rice.
  • Mix everything well, now the curd rice is ready to serve.
