Jonna Pindi Chekkalu / Jowar Flour Cracker / Sorghum Flour Fritters
Ingredients
- 11/2 cup jonna Pindi/Sorghum Flour
- 2 sp soaked Chana Dal
- 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
- chopped Curry Leaves
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep fry
Instructions
- Place above all ingredients in a bowl except oil and mix well, add 1 sp hot oil and mix well, then add enough warm water and make a dough.
- Knead well and make small balls and keep aside. Take a small dough ball and flatten into thin circle and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a khadai and carefully drop them into hot oil and fry, fry them until they turn golden brown in color and remove from the oil.
- Place them on a paper towel to remove excess oil, repeat the same process with rest of the dough.
- Now crispy crispy jonna pindi chekkalu are ready to eat, store them in an airtight container.
