Cracked Wheat And Wheat Flour Halwa / Godhuma Rava Godhuma Pindi Halwa
Ingredients
- 1 cup cracked Wheat/Goduma Rava
- 1/4 cup Wheat Flour/ Goduma Pindi
- 11/4 cup grated Jaggery
- 1 pinch Elaichi powder
- 1/4 cup Ghee
- 6 cups Water
- few Cashew Nuts & Raisins
Instructions
- Heat 2 sp ghee in a pan fry cashew nuts, raisins and remove from ghee and keep aside.
- Add wheat rava to the same pan and fry till nice aroma, remove from the pan to a plate.
- Add 2 sp ghee to the same pan add wheat flour and stir-fry till light brown in color and keep aside.
- Boil 6 cups of water in a bowl add wheat rava and cook, when it 3/4 th done add wheat flour & stir well, cook for a couple of minutes. Keep stirring
- After that add jaggery, elaichi powder and stir continuously, now add remaining ghee and continue to cook on low flame.
- When the halwa is ready, turn off the flame and transfer into a serving dish, garnish with cashew nuts and raisins.
- Wheat rava and wheat flour halwa is ready to naivedyam for Goddess Durga Devi.
