Ingredients

  • 11/2 cup Poha / Beaten Rice
  • 1 cup grated Dry Coconut
  • 1 cup grated Jaggery
  • 4 Cardamom / Elaichi
  • 3 or 4 sp milk

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan add beaten rice and fry for 5 mins on low flame, then remove from fire.
  2. Let it cool for a couple of mins and then grind into a fine powder.
  3. Grind grated coconut also into a coarse powder, add in poha powder, jaggery, elaichi and grind it again.
  4. Pour the poha mixture into a bowl and add in hot milk and mix everything well.
  5. Take small portion of the mixture and shape into a ball.
  6. Now poha coconut laddus are ready, offer them as naivedyam to Lord Sri Krishna during krishnashtami.
