Poha Coconut Laddu Recipe/Atukulu Kobbari Laddu/Aval Coconut Laddu-Krishnashtami Recipe
Ingredients
- 11/2 cup Poha / Beaten Rice
- 1 cup grated Dry Coconut
- 1 cup grated Jaggery
- 4 Cardamom / Elaichi
- 3 or 4 sp milk
Instructions
- Heat a pan add beaten rice and fry for 5 mins on low flame, then remove from fire.
- Let it cool for a couple of mins and then grind into a fine powder.
- Grind grated coconut also into a coarse powder, add in poha powder, jaggery, elaichi and grind it again.
- Pour the poha mixture into a bowl and add in hot milk and mix everything well.
- Take small portion of the mixture and shape into a ball.
- Now poha coconut laddus are ready, offer them as naivedyam to Lord Sri Krishna during krishnashtami.
