Raw Banana Onion Curry / Aratikaya Ullipaya kura / Vazhakkai Onion Sabji
Ingredients
- 1 no Aratikaya/Raw Banana
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1/4 sp Turmeric Powder
- 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Dry Red Chilli crocked
- Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash, peel banana and cut into small pieces, cook them along with salt and turmeric powder, once done strain them. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, when done add curry leaves and fry for a while.
- Then add chopped onion and stir, add turmeric powder, little salt and stir-fry until the onion is translucent.
- Add in cooked raw banana pieces, red chilli powder and mix well. Cover and cook on low flame for a couple of minutes, once done turn off the flame.
- Now aratikaya ullipaya kura/raw banana onion curry is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve with hot rice.
