Potlakaya Kobbari Kura / Snake Gourd Coconut Curry / Snake Gourd Porial
Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped Snake Gourd Pieces
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 2 Green Chillies
- fistful fresh Coconut Pieces
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Red Chilli
- few Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves and stir. Add in snake gourd pieces, salt, turmeric powder and mix well, cover and cook on low flame. Meanwhile, grind coconut, green chillies into a coarse paste and keep aside.
- When the pieces are soft stir in ground coconut paste and mix everything well, cook uncovered for 5 mins on low flame, then turn off the heat.
- Now potlakaya kobbari kura is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve with hot rice and ghee.
