
Potlakaya Kandipappu Podi Kura / Snake Gourd Toor Dal Fry
Ingredients
- 1 no Potlakaya/Snake Gourd
- 1/4 cup Toor Dal/Kandi Pappu
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash and soak toor dal for about 10 mins and 3/4 cook on stove top and keep it aside, wash and cut snake gourd into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves, potlakaya pieces and stir, add salt, turmeric powder and mix well.
- Sprinkle little water and mix, cover and cook on low flame, when the pieces are completely cook add cooked toor dal, red chilli powder and mix well.
- Let it simmer on low heat for another couple of minutes without lid and then turn off the flame.
- Potlakaya kandi pappu podi kura is ready to serve, serve hot with plain white rice.
