Aloo Carrot Upma Recipe / Suji Potato Carrot Upma - Upma Varieties
Ingredients
- 1 cup Semolina/Sooji/Bombay Rava
- 1/2 Carrot cut into small pieces
- 1/2 Potato cut into small pieces
- 2 Green chillies chopped
- 1 Tomato chopped
- 1 Onion chopped
- 3 cups Water
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry leaves
- 2 tbsp Oil

Instructions
- Heat oil in a khadai add popu ingredients and fry, once done add chopped onion, green chillies, curry leaves and fry for a while.
- Then add carrot, aloo pieces and fry for 2 mins on low to medium flame, next add chopped tomato and cook for a couple of mins until all the veggies are soft.
- Then add in 3 cups of water, salt and bring it to a boil, once the water starts boiling, pour the suji and stir well. Cover and cook on low flame until the water completely absorbs. Turn off the heat and let it leave for 2 mins with cover.
- Now suji carrot, potato upma is ready, serve hot with chutney or chutney powder with ghee.
