Triangle Paratha Recipe / Triangle Roti / Triangular Chapathi

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Wheat Flour
  • 1/4 cup Milk or Curd
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 sp Ghee
  • 2 sp Wheat Flour for dusting
  • 4 sp Oil
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Mix together first four ingredients in a bowl and mix well with enough water and prepare a soft dough.
  2. Cover the dough and allow it to rest for at least 20 - 30 mins, knead well and divide the dough into lime sized balls.
  3. Flatten one ball of the dough with your hand and roll it out into a circle like chapathi, apply ghee and fold the circle into half.
  4. Apply oil and then fold it again to make a triangle shape, then roll out into a paratha, now it already looks like a triangular in shape.
  5. Heat a griddle, when it hot cook chapathi on both sides with oil, now triangle chapathi is ready to serve, serve with dal or curry.
