Bajra Flakes Upma/Pearl Millet Poha Upma/Sajja Atukula Upma - Upma Varieties
Ingredients
- 1 cup Bajra Flakes/Sajja Atukulu
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 1 Green Chilli chopped
- 1 no Potato peeled & chopped finely
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 sp Lemon Juice(optional)
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1 Red Chilli
- few Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves, chopped onion and green chillies. Stir and cook for a while, then add potato cubes and mix well.
- Add salt, turmeric powder and mix, sprinkle little water and cook with cover on low flame for 5 mins or until done, then Add in bajra flakes and mix well, sprinkle little water and cook for 2 mins on low flame. Once done turn off the flame, add lemon juice and mix well, now healthy breakfast bajra flakes upma is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
