Aloo Alasandalu Curry / Alu Bobbarlu Kura / Potato Brown Cowpeas Sabji
Ingredients
- 2 no Potatoes/Aloo
- 1/4 cup Soaked Bobbarlu/Lobia
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 1 Tomato finely chopped
- 1 Green Chilli chopped
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 Chana Dal
- 1/4 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- few Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Pressure cook chopped potatoes, soaked cowpeas in two separate bowls for 2 whistles and then turn off the flame & allow it to cool, once cooled peel the potatoes and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves, chopped onion, green chillies and stir. Stir-fry until the onions are translucent add chopped tomato and cook until soft. Now add cooked alasandalu, cooked alu and mix well.
- Then add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander leaves and mix everything well. Continue to cook for a couple of mins and then transfer it into a serving bowl. Now healthy recipe bangaladumpa bobbarlu curry is ready to serve, serve hot with rice or roti.
