Aloo Allam Pachi Mirchi Kura / Potato Curry with Ginger Green Chilli Paste

Ingredients

  • 4 Potatoes boiled, peeled & mashed
  • 1 Green Chilli chopped
  • 1 " Ginger Piece roughly chopped
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1 sp Lemon Juice
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/4 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 sp Urad Dal
  • 1/4 sp Chana Dal
  • 2 Red Chillies
  • chopped Coriander Leaves
  • few Curry Leaves
  • 3 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Grind ginger, green chillies into a course paste & keep aside, heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry.
  2. Once done add curry leaves, mashed potatoes, salt, turmeric powder and mix well, now add ground green chilli ginger paste, chopped coriander leaves & stir well, cook for a couple of mins on low flame. When done turn off the flame, then add lemon juice and mix everything well.
  3. Now aloo allam mirchi curry is ready. Transfer into a serving bowl & garnish with chopped coriander leaves, serve with rice or roti.
