Alu Dosakaya Kura / Potato Yellow Cucumber Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 small Dosakaya/Yellow Cucumber
  • 2 nos Potatoes
  • 2 Green Chillies chopped
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • Curry Leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel and cut dosakaya, aloo into small pieces and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, when done add curry leaves, green chillies, onions and fry.
  3. Add chopped dosakaya, aloo pieces, turmeric powder, salt and mix.
  4. Sprinkle little water and stir well, cook on medium flame with cover.
  5. Once done add red chilli powder and stir well, continue to cook on low flame with cover for 1 min.
  6. After that turn off the heat and transfer into a serving bow.
  7. Now dosakaya alu curry is ready to serve. serve with rice or roti.
