Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped Atika Mamidaku
  • 1 cup Toor Dal
  • 2 Green Chillies chopped
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 sp Tamarind Pulp
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/4 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • Curry leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Combine and Pressure cook toor dal, onion, green chilli pieces and chopped atika mamidaku.
  2. Once done turn off the heat and let the cooker cool down completely. After that remove the lid and mash it well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add cooked dal mix and stir well. Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, tamarind pulp and mix everything well.
  4. Continue to cook for a couple of mins on low flame, then turn of the heat and transfer into a serving bowl.
  5. Now healthy and tasty atika mamidiaku pappu is ready to serve, serve with white rice or rotis.
