Beetroot Dosa Recipe – Instant and healthy dosa - Dosa Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 small Beetroot
- 1 cup Rice Flour
- 1/2 cup Maida/All purpose Flour
- Salt to taste
- 4 sp Oil for dosa
Instructions
- Wash peel, cut beetroot into pieces and cook them until soft, once cooked leave it to cool, then grind them into a smooth paste and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl add rice flour, all purpose flour, salt and add ground beetroot paste and mix together, then add enough water to it and make a thin batter without lumps.
- Heat a tawa and grease it with little oil before pouring the batter, when hot pour a ladle full of batter on the hot tawa like rava dosa.
- Now apply 1 sp oil around the edges of the dosa, once it's cook, then turn it to the other side and cook on medium flame until done.
- Repeat the same process with remaining batter, now healthy breakfast beetroot dosa is ready, serve hot with chutney, pickle or chutney powder.
