Biyyam Rava Upma/Rice Rava Upma in Rice Cooker - Upma Varieties

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice Rava
  • 21/2 cups Water
  • 2 sp chopped Green Chillies
  • 2 sp chopped Ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Chana Dal
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • few Curry Leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry.
  2. Once done add chopped ginger, green chillies, curry leaves and stir-fry for 30 secs.
  3. Add rice suji to the pan and stir for a minute on low to medium heat.
  4. Then remove from fire and transfer it to rice cooker bowl and add water, salt and mix it well.
  5. Cover with the lid and switch on to cooking mode, when the upma is done the switch automatically move to keep warm mode and let it leave for 2 mins.
  6. Now rice rava upma/biyyam rava upma is ready to serve, serve hot with any pickle or chutney powder.
