Punugulu with Idly Batter / Idly Pindi Bondalu
Ingredients
- 1 cup Idly Batter
- 1 tbsp Maida/All purpose flour
- 1 tbsp Rice Flour
- 1 big Onion finely chopped
- 2 Green Chillies finely chopped
- 2 sp soaked Chana Dal
- 1 pinch Cooking Soda
- chopped Curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep fry
Instructions
- Combine above all ingredients(except oil)In a bowl and mix together.
- Heat oil in a pan take 1 tbsp of the batter by hand and drop slowly into the hot oil.
- Deep fry these bondas on medium heat till golden brown, remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Now idly pindi punugulu are ready, serve hot with chutney.
